Dominion Arms Outlaw Owners ONLY poll-Apr. 4 Tally results: YES 88.5% NO 11.5%

OWNERS ONLY: Are you happy with your Dominion Arms Outlaw?

  • Total voters

No. Owner and have fired. That's what the poll says.

If someone gets special treatment for not firing one and judgeing it on looks alone, others should have the same benefit for not owning one and judgeing on looks alone.

I think that it is very unlikely that the poster in question intends to use his/her Outlaw as a wallhanger and will probably hold off and test his/her Outlaw so that his/her opinion and vote in this poll is based on actual use rather than Internet conjecture.

I think that the poster has advertised his outlaw for sale in clean but un fired condition?

CR, if that is the case then according to my post #155 below, he won't vote.

BTW if there are OWNERS who intend not to fire them but want them as wall hangers and they are not satisfied, they can vote too.

If your intention is for it to be a wallhanger, please go ahead and vote.

If you intend to use it as a shooter, please wait until you have a chance to try it out so that your opinion and vote are based on your actual use.

WRONG

if you pulled your head out of your ass you might be able to read that i gave a good reason for it.

When you gave your other reasons for selling school, money etc. Was only after I called you on your for sale post.

sorry, do i have to report my personal reasons to you? last time i checked your a little string of text on a messageboard.

if a potential buyer really wants to know why im selling, its because i would rather have the cash to put towards my $1000 book bill next year.

With any purchase that is highly anticpated at some point the anticipation has to square up with the reality. It wouldn't be the first time a gun owner has keenly looked forward to something only to have it arrive and discover it's not his thing or decided he had different priorities.

It's geologist's poll and he can set and modify the criteria as he sees fit. It's his decision whether to include simko's vote even though he hasn't fired the gun and is attempting to get rid of it within a couple days of getting it.

simko, best of luck in your sale.

Guys, let's try to keep the insults down otherwise I fear that

I am an owner and have fired my Outlaw.

That's what the poll says. Your words, not mine. The magic word here is "and", not or.

**EDIT** I apologize to all for my poor attitude and out of line reference to the one reporting corporation we've all come to dispise. I anxiously await the final tally of this poll and certainly do not want to see this thread locked. I appreciate geologist's enthusiasm keeping this thread going strong with all his will.

How about judging by looks and by firing? I have seen one in action! How about renting or leasing for a few shots?

It is interesting that among the low numbers that have claimed satisfaction, most have listed a serious or significant problem with the outlaw, but are still satisfied? What does it take to not be satisfied? Serious injury? Death? Many have mentioned that the reason they want one is to tick off the fudds:D Can not wait for the final scientific tally:D

Geologist, way to go with the "f**k off" attitude though. Did you get your reporting lessons from CBC?

I guess this is not a poll any more.

**EDIT** I apologize to easy for the tone of my posts to him and welcome him to continue following and adding to this thread.

I do not see anything in my response to you (see below) that suggests that I am telling you to (in your words) f**k off. I implore you to start your own thread so that you can be satisfied with the results of your own poll.

Please read post #157.

If you are unsatisfied with my position please feel free to stop following this thread and start your own. Thank you and have a nice day.

I'm with geologist on this one. Let's not let this thread spiral into the sea and be locked like the others.

Whether you like the gun or not this is a very valuable thread. The poll results, pictures, comments should all be kept going.

With all credit to simko, he was honest about his reasons for selling the gun. He could have made up some BS or not offered a reason at all. Who among us hasn't made an impulse purchase only to shortly afterwards ask themselves why the heck did I buy this thing in the first place?

I'm always amazed at how, in spite of people's best efforts, objective and reasoned and useful discussions on this board can quickly degenerate into squabbling and posturing. I thought that's what Jerry Springer, Geraldo Rivera and Judge Judy were for.

I'd say IBTL except I've been on this thread already.

Thanks Win/64 and CB.

I'd like to see a thread where the regulation of other non-Outlaw SxS shotguns are tested and posted. That would be very cool to me but after taking so much flak over this poll, I think that it wouldn't be worth the aggravation.

outlaw alongside an old clunker, please excuse the tissue in pic 1, all this bashing and internet name calling has made me cry :(
