Dominion Arms Outlaw

I've been thinking about buying one myself and as a left-hander was curious how friendly the double trigger is for lefties?:)

A double triggered shotgun and Left Handed people works just as well as it does for Right handed people.

I don't own a Dominion but I have 311 with double trigger and as a lefty I find no problems with mine. Safeties on top and it works just fine for me. Double pulling even hurts with a 8lb shotgun with hunting loads (trap is like a love nudge).

The front trigger is offset right, fires the right barrel. The trigger for the left barrel is offset left and is the rear trigger.

I kind of like firing it left handed, it feels like a more natural transition from the front trigger to the rear. That makes it a little quicker for followup shots if you aren't firing using a finger on both triggers. If you prefer using two fingers though, it's no more awkward than for a righty.

All controls are equally accessible right or left handed. Hope that helps.

Caveat; I am right hand dominant, a true lefty may have different opinions.

If there is nothing between you and a hungry bear but a nylon tent that ugly Outlaw seems like it would make you feel a hell of a lot better than a can of bear spray!

So hows the qualty on these things?

:D
I can only speak for my Outlaw which shoots, doesn't blow up & nothing falls off.

The gun is solidly built, the bluing is adequate with a few barely noticeable light spots.

Norinco didn't waste any production time sanding down the inside of the fore end so I did that myself.

The separation tolerances & fit of the moving metal parts (hammers, break open hinge, trigger assembly, safety switch, action release toggle) are acceptable.......nothing rubs, scrapes, chaffes or jams & the gun disassembles & reassembles in seconds.

The wood to metal fit is good.

The stock & fore end wood finish was quite respectable on mine.

Quality of checkering.............Yah! right!;)

I haven't had any problems.........it ain't a Greener or a Purdey but everything works & it shoots......what else do you expect for two C-notes & change?

Accuracy?..........you're kidding of course?;)

I don't see anything better in my gun lockers for duty as a break down camp, cottage, bush survival/predator defense shotgun.

It seems that the people who actually bought them tend to like them. Most negative comments seem to come from people who don't like the idea of them.

I think the more options the better. They seem like a great bear or home defence gun and I love the style. I would love a 10 gauge.

Recently shot my Outlaw for the first time. Recoil wasn't bad. Nothing fell off. As for accuracy........lol. (might as well have been shooting blind!) Fun gun to play around with and show off to friends but dont depend on it to take out a charging bear...........you'd have more luck taking it down with a swift karate chop to the neck!! lol ahahaha

I shot this thing with slugs at some old 2x4's had lying around. Took them apart!. 2 slugs in the chamber right to the bears head and that thing is a done charging!

Ye your right. At close range it would be very usefull....like right against the bears head!!! Make yourself some BearBrainSoup.......just dont waste those slugs trying to hit the bear at any sorta distance, all your gonna do is help clear a path for em. I dunno maybe its just my OutLaw that doesnt shoot straight.
