Anyone got detailed info about T97NRR Rifle?

https://www.canadaammo.com/product/detail/25/dominion-arms-t97nrr-rifle-5-56mm/

So, its a dominion arms ?

I believe its different from what NS is getting right ?

Grizzly 8.5 or the norinco hp9 same shotgun different branding. Should be the case here too

Norinco is a big corporation which buy from vary of manufacturers for exporting (not everyone can export) so the quality may vary factory to factory, and I think those Grizzly are from one single factory...

Lets hope they're built like the grizzly 12.5 shotguns. They're tanks! Omg I can't wait for these to come in. Lol

I wonder what kind of quality the recievers will be like for these. Are they made on the type 97a tooling with a slightly changed milling operation for a lack of happy switch? Will it wear the same finish as the type 97a? All things i need to know before buying and is the barrel chrome lined?

It's based on a proven design and Norinco has already proven they can produce a reasonably accurate and reliable black rifle, so I'm optimistic. Chrome lining may even be a (mild) detriment to accuracy, not that it'd prevent me from buying the rifle for sporting use.

Chrome lining is good for 2 things - durability with full auto fire, and corrosion resistance with corrosive ammo. It's not a full auto rifle, and there's no corrosive 556 - no need to chrome the barrel, but given that the Chinese do really awesome hard chrome, it can't hurt.

Does it not increase barrel life and durabity during volume shooting, regardless of control group? Some bolt action service rifles are even chrome lined, whether they need it or not I don't know. I would find it hard to believe they wouldn't, considering the m-305 and M4 both come chrome-lined

Most of us are going to be using beowulf mags in these and i feel chrome lining would really help with wear and tear on the barrel from mag dumps. I know its a proven desigh but these recievers are redesighned so they wont accept FA trigger groups im just hoping the finish remains the same as the type 97a and doesnt look like a shop class project.
