DiD one better called them and they are in production not in stock I wish they were in stock as i am looking forward to mine ....

fly a rcmp officer over to china to get the shipment inspected before it leaves for canadian waters imo........

dont want them confiscating another batch once it arrives

First version wasn't inspected until after it got here and sales started, as was the method back then. See also: Swiss rifle fiasco.

This batch was inspected before mass import began. Things aren't as they were.

Pure speculation by me. I notice that there is a comma after T97 NRR rifle and before 5.56mm is now in stock! (I highlighted it in red)
Could this email be referring to AMMO in stock?
Although the "be among the first to get your hands on "" line seems to suggest not.

I called CANAM and spoke with Ryan about these emails that went out. He said these emails were sent out to all the people that have pre orders with them, and that they are almost ready to ship china and should have word in a few weeks. :( and he said emails were sent as a reminder type thing to put anymore pre orders in, if you only had the T97 on your wish list. What happened is all the people that have pre-ordered, CANAM has automatically added to your wish list on your account as well as you keeping your preorder number. So, theses emails that went out, should have only been sent to people with it on their wish list only, but have not pre order. From what I can tell, there is no way their web site can do that.
 
Surreyjack1 I do have a preorder # as you ...just spoke to Matt and said the same "still in manufacture will lets us know when ready to ship' maybe CanadaAMMO should come on and set the record straight !!!

The pre-order qty was re-upped on the site, which sends the update to all those with the item on their wishlist.

Nothing has changed

This is inline with the 'new' pre-order that very recently popped up on my profile (CanAm), complete with order number and $$ amount equaling the price plus GST.

Haha I'll admit when I saw this I pulled a "helllls yeah!" At the job site, thinking I'd have my hands on this firearm soon. Haha

To Canada Ammo: what is the FRT for the NRR 97?

Ah, I see you don't know the whole story.

It's a blessing, really. You haven't had to wait all that long compared to some people.

(The '97 was reclassified a few years ago. What is being discussed here is the new version. Some people had the old version on pre-order with CanAm, and CanAm decided keep those pre-orders on file in case a new version came along (or the RCMP was reasoned with), which it did. This is why some have pre-orders from many years back.)
 
Thanks for clarifying. So are u sure the 97s are really coming this time ? What is the FRT for the NRR?
