Dominion arms tomahawk

A bit too plain for my spoiled taste.

Fair enough, everyone likes something a little different which is a good thing. I'm more the K-Bar utilitarian guy probably because I use my knives in the bush or for rough use. This size blade is perfect to put on my belt. K-Bar is just too huge to wander around my neighborhood. :)

Don't get me wrong, those look nicely designed with everyday use in mind, the handle should be really comfy and the blade length is right too. It's just that the point of the blade seems it can use some extra stabbing/penetration prowess, but I guess people hardly need to stab things as often in real life so it's not a big deal.

Frontier-style bowie, Arkansas toothpick (modernized), the above tomahawk with a spike on the one end.

we could do a kydex sheath. post some pics of what you guys like

steel could be anything from 10XX types to 440 to D2

we are going to be making several knives over the next year.

we'd love to have your input on designs.

Hmmm... This:

Versus this from the link:

Maybe I'm wrong... but that looks like a completely different item than the "sample".

nvm out of stock now- just saw another post saying they only got 7 with first shipment, but gives you an idea of what it looks like. Judging by the fact it says SPIKED tomahawk, I am hoping they have a 2nd design with a hammer back

I thought the dominion arms tomahawk was supposed to be full tang and have a g10 handle; the above picture posted by kodiacjack has neither. I'm guesssing the above tomahawk is something else .... perhaps, a test case to see how much demand there is for tomahawks in general?

The more and more I fool around with my SOG hawk and m48,the more I wish I had something like the Gerber design for camping use, that hammer end would really come in handy.

I'm gonna wander a little further out on the limb here, and say that I believe you are mistaken.

The tomahawk you're talking about has been on their site for some time, and in no way matches the Samples they posted pictures of a few weeks ago. It's my understanding that the tomahawks that are the focus of this particular thread are still forthcoming, and no announcement has yet been made.

Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.

possible, however I have not seen this one on the site yet prior to them announcing they were getting some in. I am hoping that they are going to have 2 types, the spiked one and the sample on with the hammer back. just figured some could be interested to know they do/ did have some in
