Domminion Arms Grizzly frame/receiver only question

So I bought a grizzly off the ee and the seller said he was keeping the barrel, it was advertised like this

As the title says, Dominion Arms Grizzly but I keep the barrel.
Well used as a bush gun (but no rust)
Currently with a paint job but it can be removed if wished.
Just add a barrel and you're set.

Now I've just received my reg cert from the CFC and it says frame/receiver only, there was no mention of this by the seller..........so

#1 Why would a seller do that, is there a reason to do this?? Why not just sell it and have the buyer put his own barrel on it, no hassles

#2 What in the world do i do now?? I have a dlask 12.5 inch barrel for it but how do i re register it properly??

Good luck with that mate. I just paid the extra money and bought a new Grizzly and stock.

I'm pretty sure you just call the CFC and tell them you wish to re-register it as a complete shotgun with the Dlask 12.5 FACTORY length barrel.

I think that shall do it. Hope this helps

just call the CFC, tell them the bbl length. Not rocket surgery.
