Great work Don. Congratulations on becoming a vegan. A perfect display of your complete ignorance of anything outside of hockey. I wonder if maybe Canadians were hunting looooong before they started pushing rocks around on frozen ponds with crooked sticks? If there is every anyone who I expected to stand up for a seriously and continually eroded component of Canadian heritage it would be Don Cherry. Guess not. Won't be shocked if you move to Sweden and start condoning visors... I'm sure that the Governor General will be happy to take your place on Coaches Corner...

Even though he's anti-hunter / gun-grabber / whatever I'll always enjoy his opinions on hockey.

Hopefully someone will point out to him that the cute pigs and cows that show up on his dinner plates didn't slash their own throats or die of natural causes.
 
Not the first person I've seen who preferred to have someone else kill their meat for them. Out of sight out of mind right? :)
 
Don Cherry has some principals, he believes in Canada.
Unfortunately he is on the spotlight all the time, and as he progresses with age
it is hard to keep cool and from time to time he surprise people with opinions like that.
I don't think he truly means it.
Is sort of like, I hate Russians players, but then after some times he admits how good is this Russian player and that and so on...
I want to believe it was just a brain fart.

I never saw the broadcast however if what was stated here is correct you cannot extrapolate that he is anti!! Kinda like me saying " I could never be ###" I don't know how anybody could be ###" Saying such would not be Anti homosexual it would just be the truth as I feel it... I Do not hate ###'s..do not campaign against them...do not protest or the like....I am not anti ###....just don't understand it and ain't.

Don has every right to that oppinion.
 
Don C is an old ####### who should be out with a bell on in the pasture and not on national TV.

FWIW Ron McClean is a ponce as well. There was a piece aired by CBC sports a while back about the UFC's efforts to get MMA sanctioned in Ontario. When it was finished they cut to McLean, who shook his head with a patronizing smirk on his face and said 'Haven't they banned that yet?'.

Douchebag. Who wants to guess his opinion re: gun ownership? :jerkit:
