Done my CFSC and CRFSC course finally!

It took a bit of convincing to get my wife there, but this passed weekend my wife and I both did our CFSC and CRFSC courses and took the exams, unfortunately you don't get your grade on the spot (we live in Ontario but did the courses and took the tests in Quebec) so now we have to wait 2-4 weeks to find out for certain that we passed but I am quite confident about it!

From what I have read that is standard in Ontario and Quebec but frankly that's some grade A BS.
I did mine and the teacher graded it right there he even went over the question I got wrong. He handed me my signed test and I submitted it with my PAL application the next day. His signature is on the test and the CFC could call him anytime and confirm my marks if it looked like I altered them he has to keep a copy on his records.

June 12: CFSC Results received for myself but not yet for my wife (I passed but CFSC in Quebec shows no grade)
June 13: CFSC Results received for my wife (she passed as well, again it does not give the grade)..."

If an instructor in Ontario sent out a form without scores, the CFO's paper checkers would likely send it back to the instructor for completion.

Yeah I think it must work a little different in Quebec, they have all their CFSC courses processed through Securitie Nature Quebec (which is like the MNR) and the CRFSC through FQTir which is the Quebec Shooting Federation, when you have passed the CFSC you get this laminated card in the mail with your name and birthdate on it, the Code L means passed CFSC Exam and took the Course, there is a different code if you challenged, there is a different code if you took it for bow hunting etc.

Then the CRFSC you get a similar laminated card with information on it

For the CRFSC results you get the paper back with your grade on it in the mail when you get that card, from the Securite Nature you don't

I would guess so yeah, since in Quebec it is provincially organized there probably isn't another way to get your results. Maybe if you were to contact Securite Nature directly and request it you can get the results for the CFSC course, I am not 100% sure. But maybe CBSA know's how it works in Quebec and the card is good enough, I'm not sure.

I'm still on vacation, will be coming back in a few days, I noticed the site to check your status has changed dramatically. I gave the RCMP a call because I noticed the charge on my credit card, they let me know that the payment has been processed, I and that the application has been entered and that I should wait a few more weeks and to call back. It's making some progress!

So today both of our applications appeared online (both old and new site) as "In Progress", when I called in they said they weren't ready to interview me yet and to call back next Friday. It's getting somewhere!
