There's lots out there...any 6.5mm bullet is the same thing, 120, 140,160 is the most common I think

IF you are talking about factory then yes 140 gr. it is.

Bullets are available from 85gr to 160gr from various manufacturers. Try the 140gr Berger VLD they work very well for me.

Nosler makes a 120 gr Ballistic Tip that shoots very well in my 264, however I stick to 140s for the 6.5s for hunting.

Been having alot of success with the Accubonds as of late, specialy in the accuracy department. I have not harvested game for a few years now with the 6.5s

I use 140gr Sierra Gamekings in my .264 Win Mag and they work great. They are fast, accurate, reliable and as cheap as it gets.

I also use the 215 gr Gameking in my.338 Lapua mag beacuse of the same reasons as well as they are the most accurate hunting load I have found for that rifle.

pretty tough to run a 264 win mag without a belted case...AND hang onto all your fingers...

some one is always looking for 264 cases if that's what your asking... every one I know uses 7mm rem mag brass due to limited availbility of 264 cases..

The problem with using bullets lighter than 140 gr is normally you would use a faster powder for that application.It seems anything faster than charcoal brings back the old "barrel burner" tag. Just my 2 cents.
