Some advice for novice and experienced shooters in any competitive sport. Don't engage in a transaction for a decent precision rifle/shotgun/handgun and sell it piece-meal to any shooter a few mere months before a next provincial match. Do not attempt to torpedo your competitors in some kind of underhanded plot, just before match day.

Please, don't be one of these guys. Don't drag down the shooting sports in the name of your ego, merely because you think this new shooter just might take away your prized medal/award/t-shirt/turkey/chicken in a pot/box of chocolates/bubble gum.

That is all I'm going to say on this matter. I will not reply here or answer PMs about this one folks.

^Absolutely nothing wrong with buying & selling rifles or what have you. I'm only saying don't engage in a tranaction with the sole purpose of undermining your competition before match day. I believe I was a victim of this kind of plot once. Purchased a nice almost complete rifle, three months later, (the deal was for ALL of it) the rear sight mysteriously & suddenly appeared in the mail. Funny enough, just one day before the match. Communications with the seller were deflection IMO. (This was NOT on this EE btw)The seller lived in the same city as myself. Efforts to purchase another rear sight from another match shooter, who had one for sale that would also fit this rifle, were met with a stoney faced silence.

I leave it to you to interpret friend.
