A scope that won't hold up to a teeny tap isn't going ot be much use in a saddle scabbard, on a mountain, or under recoil.
Is it ever preferable to use a slap rather than a tap? How about a good smack? I assume a smash is going too far. During "F" class matches, I notice none of the guys tap, slap, or smack their scopes. If I adopt this technique, will it give me an edge? Regards, Bill.
I read on the Rifle magazine or some other magazine, it's where you turn the dials quickly. They called it something like zipping, zapping or whatever. It noted that will set the crosshairs better or something. It was interesting but I'd rather learn more about before I try it. I don't have a clue but read about it a little.
All i know is that rifle and scope shot like a laser beam for the last month. I go to zero the scope for hunting, then it shoot eradically. I tap the caps and the hairs settle and its back to under 1/2" MOA.

No, but if you use rap while they are shooting you will have the edge. In this case, I am talkign about Rap -the Music.

the slight tapping on the scope made the rifle think he was being tapped on the head for a job well done, and resumed shooting like the happy little rifle he is.

Leupold scopes are not brought into adjustment by tapping, that is why they have turrets that you turn, which in calibrated response will move windage and elevation lines. So, with these Bushnells, what is recommended, one tap, two taps, one light, two heavy??? If taps can alter the position of the cross-hairs, I can just imagine what magnum recoil will do. This doesn't speak well for any device that is "supposed" to provide a certain level of precision.

OK, so you had to find the edit thingy to do that. I don't know what camera you have cat but usually you see all your pictures somewhere on your puter and can click on them to see them full size and edit them. You know, where you can zoom in and out and stuff.
With my Kodak program once I'm there I click 'save as'. At this point there's a menu off to the side to resize it. Usually 50% or sometimes 75% is the way to go. Then you rename the picture and save it. I always save on desk top so I can find it.
Off to photobucket and upload it off your desk top and Bob's your uncle.Oh, give it a little tap before you send it.
