Don't shoot strange-looking escaped deer, Ontario sanctuary urges

sorry Dukester, I know you don't like this because some arsehole(s) cut the fence. I agree with you that cutting the fence was an offence and the SOB(s) who did that should be punished. But they were probably anti-hunting type dickweeds to start with, PETA types or eco-terrorists, as some have said.

But I do NOT think it is poaching, as I have stated repeatedly. When poachers lose their guns, I think most of us join you in cheering. When somebody shoots varmints at large, I would not join you in characterizing them as turds.

Back to whammy...........I read about this in the local paper and am 99% sure they reported that the antlers had been taken (sawed off).

Doug

Doug, the paper said the horns were taken, but the blog says they were left.

It appears he was shot in the head and his antlers were cut off and left at the site, along with his head and skin.

Probably they were going to take them, but changed their mind...

Makes me cheer every time some poaching goof gets his just desserts, and loses everything. Including his guns.

The turd that shot that deer hurt us all .

How is that poaching??
Which law would the MNR seize the guys guns under?
At the risk of re-opening this bullsh$t thread, fallow deer running wild pose a bigger conern. Yes, I do know some arsehole cut the fence.
Can we move on?????

This is the reason why you don't name farm animals.

Oh boo hoo, poor dandy. He was second in command in the pen.

Really people, I love pets just as much as the next guy but this story is getting a little wierd.
