Last night I was completely reassembling my 19 + 11 + I somehow managed to lose a pin for it the mainspring housing pin don't know where it went to, it's just gone little warning.
And also my Sig Sauer p320 was not working the way it should look at it just assembled it and the trigger bar Spring was bent out of shape.
Anyone know where I can get either of these parts to I cannot find any in Canada.

Had same problem until I took some of my aquarium magnets and now when I take anything apart all parts are placed onto the magnets. Or you can go to a sign shop and get some of the flexible magnetic stuff they use to make sign that stick onto car doors.

When I'm doing small parts work, I use old muffin pans, they work great, even to organize the sequence of screws, nuts and bolts re-assembly.

When I lose a spring 95% are never found even if they drop on a clean white floor and you saw them go. The other 5% found are inexplicably in a place it would take a suspension of the laws of physics to get them there.

If a part falls on grass or gravel directly below you give up and don't even try. Go straight to the EE parts wanted section.

Did you try Western Gun Parts .. Edmonton.

I had an Erma 22 that would disassemble itself, somewhat like a clock in a movie I once saw, pieces launching themselves into space after a cover was taken off, it didn't stop until there were parts all over the table and some far off into the room. I finally got to the stage that when I took that cover off I threw a rag over it to catch all the stuff that exploded out of it.

In the meantime .. yeah I like the magnet idea and wouldn't vacuum until I'd tried that.

I use a cookie sheet with a rim to disassemble my revolvers and pistols, it keeps the parts in one place.

I also use one of the large aluminum cooking pans.

If necessary, a smaller dish is set inside the pan for very small parts.

Remembers me my sailing days when an expensive stainless steel part used to go from the floor to the water....heart breaking.

Get a cat. They're not really good for anything else, but the'll find your tiny parts when they sproing off in random directions.

This is a fantastic idea.

I've swept I move I tore my chair apart I mean literally I put it back with staples recently and still nothing my German Shepherd even went looking with me I think you just wanted to have some attention haha, I'll look at Western gun parts, might have what I'm after

Pins and screws can be found with magnets.
But springs quite often create wormholes to other dimensions and will never be found.

funny thing is I had one of my beard for three days and I didn't know it no I don't brush my beard and how do I know if it didn't come out in the shower and my beard is not that full lol

In order not to have flying bits in the first place, disassemble critical or spring loaded parts in a big clear plastic bag...you see what you're doing and you never loose tiny springs and stuff. Same for reassembly.
Takes a bit to get used to it, tho.

Buy any spring that looks like it might work, but make sure to buy the most expensive one. Because you know as soon as you click confirm on your order, the spring you lost will show up.

CG I completely agree, I did not lose a spring thank God, it was bent outta shape haha, but the pin is a 3/16 of an inch wide and about an inch long with a groove in the middle I have no idea where it went to me and my mother just cleaned the living room check the chairs and couch NADA and I've been checking the box at inside the frame, where the hell it went, no idea

Frustrating as you know it's there somewhere. Like, how can it not be and if you go over every square inch it has to turn up, right?
