That's because you aimed for the center. Seeking adventure, I aimed for the corners, really, and I'm sure my rounds grouped very nicely in the tree's behind the berm;) . Considering your point of aim, and the 23 lb. DA trigger, I thing 17" groups were completely acceptable on your part:eek:
 
yeah yeah, my DA shots were just right of center (POA), but I was yanking the SA shots about 17" low. I have no idea why. It was operator error though, as the 3 of us who shot it, all put bullets into different spots. I have to lighten the trigger pull up some, it's rather heavy right now.
 
Oh I'd say 17" isn't too out of whack, the SA shots were way down there on the target.

Nice pistol though Rob (especially for a Beretta;) ). I'll be interested in seeing it after you modify a few things, and I'm curious to see how that rotary barrel system performs. Sure is smooth to shoot.
 
she works much better now with the trigger job and stupid safety removed and made into decocker only.
