Anyone knows a gunsmith that can put a door breaching device on a barrel "( that does not break)....thinking about getting a CanAm's 8.5" and have the muzzle device added. Or how about, where to get a door breaching device for a shotgun?

Obviouisly, I am not a shotgun guy at all.;)

You know, most people just have a spare key made! :D

Nice! As a noob, I have to ask. I inferred it is for opening doors, but how does one properly use it to do so?

from what i gather, one would place the tip of the ported extension against or nearly touching the door, where you believe the hinge to be located, then fire a round thru the door, blowing the hinge to snot.
but i have only read about it and never seen it, so i could be mistaken;)

There are some techniques to it but basically you got it! You put it right against the target, the teeth keep it from slipping.

The breaching attachment with the "V" groove in it that BRAMEL has, is also used for rebar cutting with special steel hollow point slugs.

I don't think 8.5" is a good idea for a door breacher. Maybe 12.5 is a better choice.

Neighour is quiet....but sometimes I cannot find my key in the dark espeically when I am drunk at night and want to go out to take a piss.....

And hope like sh*t that the guy on the otherside of the door is'nt filling it full of lead while you're looking for the 2nd or 3rd hinge:50cal:

Wouldn't you just blow the door knob/lock set off and kick the door open?
Why mess around with blowing up to three hinges off?

One shot to the lock and a strong kick to the door would expose you to a lot less potential return fire than standing there shooting three hinges, would it not?

Maybe I just don't understand but would not just hitting the lock or hinges with a sledge hammer be safer and cheaper???????? Probably be actually quieter too. Any pictures I have seen of police getting through a door, they were just using a ram. Who actually shoot locks and hinges with a shotgun? If you like the tactical pistol grip shotguns with the short barrel you should get one but what exactly are is their purpose?? The are no good for trap, skeet, sporting clays. They are no good for any action shot gun competition that I have see. ie: Bowling pin or steel plate, ipsc etc. Other than the novelty factor what is the purpose. If I heard a burglar in the night I would rather have my Remington 1100 that is set up for competition with a 21" barrel and a stock. I would probably have a better chance of hitting what I was trying to hit and not hitting what I do not want to hit. It would also make a better club.
