Double 1911 - Arsenal - No really.

Isn't shooting both barrels on a double barrel shotgun simultaneously the same functionality of this handgun? Weird, any excuse to prohibit a firearm.

Don't all double barrel shotguns have 2 triggers? The problem with this one is that there's only 1 trigger.

Looks like something the boys at Red Jacket would build. Just to show it can be done.

Actually, no, not all double barrel shotguns have 2 triggers. The funny thing is, I think this 1911 does have 2 triggers which boggles my mind; can anyone find a pic of the trigger?

it's a single trigger. wouldn't make sense since there are parts joined together

I certainly dont care to own tha, but it sure wold be fun to shoot! haha
What a silly novel idea, im sure they will make a killing with cheesy made for movie sci-fi movies.....:)

Now I will need a double turret re-loading press to go with it....I will be watching for a regular 1911 from this company...the Italians make some very nice guns.

I bet this is a sweetheart to synchronize.

You have both barrels loaded. You pull the trigger. Barrel number one fires normally. Barrel #2 experiences a slight delay because you're a cheap bastard and bought ratty surplus ammo or otherwise managed to get a "hangfire" scenario. As the slide comes back to toss the empty case out of barrel #1, the soon-to-fire cartridge from barrel #2 is also withdrawn. When it's halfway clear of the barrel hood, it lights up.

So what happens then?

This is a neat exercise, sure, but appears awkward and clubby. Handling one would be like grabbing a fat girl by the bum - kinda interesting, but not really satisfying.

That's a valid point.
