Hey guys, I finally am getting an open gun and I need a holster belt and pouches. I was thinking the Double Alpha belt holster and racemaster mag pouches would be best. What are your thoughts and where/who should I order them from?? Thanks!
 
They are fantastic. I love my DAA Racemaster and mag pouches. I use it with both my Glock for production and Caspian for open.

By far the most solid holster, and I've tried the CR Speed and Ghost.

i have a daa belt and based on how much a friend liked his daa race master pouches i ordered the racer (plastic racemaster, half the price) pouches direct from daa
 
The racer should be a fantastic holster if you don't need to use it for different guns. There is no removable block.

On the upside, it is half the cost of the race master and more adjustable.
 
DAA belt and Racemaster holster are great. I didn't like one thing on a holster, sticking out retention knob, which later I changed to flat screw. That knob was always on my way when I draw.
Mag pouches in my opinion are of high quality, but they are designed with Open gun in mind. They are very deep and it takes time to get used to. There is no adjustment for shorter magazines.
Before you buy it, take a look at new CR Speed holster.

I'd just received my DAA Racer Mag pouches. It's the cheaper version of the race master. Tested it again and again to get use to the new mags position for open, I can say that it is as good as the race master aluminum pouches. It is even lighter in weight. The mag retention system is exactly the same as the race master pouches, only the body is made with high quality plastic.

As PeterPan mentioned it is deep, but I'm used to my Ghost mag pouches and they have identical depth anyways so I'm ok with that :)
