I am participating in a Rifle course this summer and need to pick up some hard shell AR15 mag pouches for my belt (polymer, kydex, etc). Later in the year or next year I also want to do another course whereby Rifle and Pistol are combined, and one day am interested in 3 gun matches.

I am finding plenty of single AR mag pouches, and have settled on one by Mako/Fab Defense as it accepts Magpul PMAGs unlike some of the others out there. I am also giving consideration to Comp Tac / Blade Tech.

But as I am a small framed person (31 waist) I want to maximize what I can fit on the belt by using a double mag pouch if they exist - I am unable to find any online, not via search on CGN other then Nylon / Molle options which are off the table.

I want to cary 4 mags (as there pinned to 5) so two double mag pouches on the left hip would be great as I am running my glock and a couple pistol mag pouches on the right to balance off the weight.

Any ideas / options for me out there for double mag pouches, hard shell?

I'm running two ITW FastMag's on my belt, and you can stack them with the molle clips on the front. They make a Duty Belt version and a Molle only version. Nice and small footprint, and easy to double stack them. Got both types from DSTactical (one of the forum sponsors).

Check out HSGI double mag pouches. I use the singles off an ATS riggers belt, work great.

X2 on the tacos... They're great, you can get double stack pouches that fit pmags, or a single rifle with a pistol mag on the front, down side, they Alice clips.... Rather have molle so I can use the blackhawk strike attachments, but they're really good pouches

Justin - the TACO's use Malice clips not Alice.

They do attach to MOLLE.

Sorry, that's what I meant... I just wanted to use the blackwak strike clips on them, but the nylon on the pouch is made specifically for the malice clip width, I just found the strike clips to be the easiest method of mounting almost anything to molle

Really like the G-Code gear I'm going to have to keep an eye out to see if they come out with something for a P7. Does anybody know if there AR mag holders will work with P-MAGs?

How does everyone like the fast mag pouches? Saw a set today in person, I think they are nice and I need to buy some gear since I don't have any

Fast mags work fine for me. Being a lefty, I need pouches that are ambi - not sure if the G-code would work so well in that regard.

Fastmags are great.

YOu can also piggy back any molle gear onto the front of them, so you can stack more ar mags or pistol mags or whateveryoudamnwellplease.

I have fastmags, run the molle type on a belt no problem,I run them with foam spacers in the bottom with lar mags with ranger plates.
