Double Rifles: .375 and Better

i wonder what that 750 nitro is worth.

Too much, and it should be called ".750 FTSO" (For The Sake Of [it]), not .750 'Nitro'- it's not a real Nitro Express caliber. Sacrilege, from this guy's viewpoint, akin to entitling yourself 'Sir ######x' and not being knighted. Or pretending to be anything, really. If one looks up the list of Nitro Express cartridges, thankfully that's not one, those guys and an EDM and CNC setup can't try to jump to the ranks of Holland & Holland et al and create their own Nitro Express series cals. That'll do for my crusty commentary for the day. :)

Beautiful rifles in this thread..Really makes me wanna sell most of my rifles and shotguns that don't really get used and purchase a fine double...anybody know where I could get info on double rifles in .30-06 caliber here in Canada? probably in the $3000 price range? Do Sabatti carry them in .30-06??

Talk to Wolverine Sports. John seems to have a contagious case of double rifleitis!:D

This has died for awhile, we're into the holiday season and have some time to think about it and plan, .........who's serious about coming up to Yellowknife for The First Annual Double Rifle Shoot in early June, ......can be tied in with some great fishing and maybe a few black bears. We've got the range to handle it, long hours of daylight, and we can provide challenging targets and most likely some good prizes!!

Could copy the Australian's Double gun events with categories for .35 and under, .35 to .500, and then maybe over .500!!

You could drive or fly, it could be just a weekend with options for longer time for side trips.

PLAN NOW!!!

Merry Christmas Double rifle Abusers!

I am singing on Christmas single malt so it is time for some pillow talk!

The normally shy and aloof R.O.A. has always wanted to visit Yellowknife. I could be convinced to take my singular double up there for a meet and greet,,,if only by the promise of being surrounded by other double rifle aficionados and nothing more...

What say you???
