Where the heck are the double stacks?!

Are you sure you're finding single stack mags? I thought the only single stack 9mm Glock was the G43, and there wouldn't be a ton of them in Canada.

I believe he is referring to 17 round mags limited to 10 as opposed to factory 10 rounders.
Maybe. They're still double-stack mags though. If that's the case, OP, they're usually referred to as 10/17 mags instead of single stack (same as AR magazines being 5/30, for example).

these are the ones I bought. From the pictures they look like single stack- which is not what I need. I need the double stack mags in order to properly function in the TNW areo carbine I have. Small issue because the single stack mags have followers that dont work well in that rifle apparently.

ya I found some magpul Pmags on ctc supplies but again, the picture looks like they are single stack. Am I retarded or am I seeing things?

No. Glock 19 is double stack, but short. It won't fit a Glock 17. Don't know if it would fit your carbine.

Order from Irun, call and be specific. Tell them you want the pinned double stack that they bring in from the U.S. I believe they pin em for free.

I guess technically it is single stacked , You could think of it as a single stack in a double stacked mag body , the inside of the glock factory 10 rd mags have ribs which limit their capacity to 10 rounds in a 17 round body , this is why the witness holes are along one side only .

This also makes it a ##### to remove the base plate on the 10 rounders

The witness holes are just down the one side on the 10 round factory mags , they're not single stacked , they are double stacked .f:P:2:
they are single feed , how ever .

The unpinned factory 10 round mags are single stack. Take the base plate off the bottom and drop rounds in from that end. You will see that there is only a single stack. They run in a straight line from top to bottom. A pinned glock mag on the other had does have a staggered stack(double stack). One of the reasons you don't see many pinned double stack magazines is glock used to and may still prohibit distributors from pinning or other wise modifying their magazines. That closes off the main official channel. So you have to go through 3rd parties.

Yes , Yes they are [ I agree with you .] , double stack mag body limited to a single stack inside by ribs down the sides , and those same ribs make it some what difficult to remove the base plate .

I either didn't see your second post or didn't read it. :)

I have never noticed the base plates to be harder to remove but all I have is the 10rd glock ones & a pinned 33rd round knock off. Not much difference in what I can tell.

Have a TNW in 9mm as well and have never had an issue with any mag we have tried to run through it. Glock, KCI, Magpul, single stack, double stack, nothing has ever not worked, or caused a hiccup.

Try taking the mags apart and take a look at the springs. To see if they are square to the top and bottom. When the JRC came out they claimed that some glock mags caused issues due to the springs. I honestly don't believe that the followers are any different between the double/single mags.
