Double with my father

Went hunting yesterday with dad and got a double .

As time goes by you tend to enjoy these moments more .Dad keeps saying he wish he could have hunted more with his father before he died .
 
congrats on a couple of fine looking birds.I take my son out as much as i can.he has a great time with us and others that we meet
 
The sad thing is he is 25 years older and he has a full head of hair .And I`m sparse on top .But the funny part of the turkey hunting is I got him into it a few years back and he figured how can you get excited over just a bird .His first time having a gobbler behind him removed any doubt on how excited you can get .This was his first a couple years back as you can tell he was a little happy .

great to see the family ties still remain strong in the hunting community,
i havent been on a hunt with my dad in geez 15 or so years. i would love to take him out for a hunt one of these seasons but somewhere over the past 10 or so years since i seen him last he has gotten away from hunting. maybe i will have to invite him up next fall
 
I agree sign guy,we keep hearing take a youngster hunting and fishing but we forget at times who got most of us interested in the outdoors in the first place .
