In August I went to Los Chanares http://www.loschanares.com/ in Cordoba, Argentina for 3 days of dove hunting. I highly recommend this lodge. All of the hunting was on their private property, with the furthest blinds only a 1/2 hour drive away. They have 20 gauge Benelli semi-autos and 28 gauge under-overs for rent. First class outfitters all the way. And the hunting was amazing. Wave after wave of doves from morning to dusk. I was pounding away with a 20 gauge semi-auto with a 3 shot magazine extension. After a day and a half of shooting, my Browning Reactor Pad cracked open and leaked out the gel from the gel pads.
The trip, all in with flights, gun rental, all the ammo I used :50cal:, and tips, cost me about $6,800.

... dove nuggets, dove-ka-bobs, dove paste on crackers with cheese, dove stew, mini dove meat pies, etc. etc. ...

Never mind the doves, did you have some beef de lomo with local vino tinto, and are the agentinian senioritas as bonida as ever ? :)

The dove-ka-bobs were great; tasted like they were brushed with a vinaigrette then were grilled on the BBQ with onions, cherry tomatoes, and green peppers. Beef!! Ahhh the red meat was excellent! I’m drooling thinking about it. They have excellent chefs at Los Chanares. Breakfast, lunch and dinner; it was all good. Before the morning shoot they take orders for the masseuses who are waiting for you after the evening shoot, before dinner; lovely ladies, not an ugly one among them (no “happy endings” though).
