dovetail blanks

where can a guy buy these..they are for the rear dovetail on a rifle barrel when the rear sight has been removed...I need one for a Parker Hale or a set of open sights,either/or

Post a WTB in the EE. I found a few on there.....dirt cheap too....

If that doesn't work, try buffalo arms, they carry alot of stuff for shooters and good quick shipping.

Brownells sells several kinds. You can get a 12" mild steel blank you can cut to size and file to contour. Or ready made and decorative dove tail slot fillers. The size of the dove tail matters. Most of Brownell's are for a 3/8" 60 degree dovetail.

I picked mine up from Numrich in the states. I ordered them with some other parts that I needed and it wasn't a problem. They arrived in just over a week right to the house. Here is the link for the lyman 12S for 3/8" dovetails. You can search their site if there is a different size that you need.
