I played around with a few and none really worked for me. I have heard trijicon makes one that is better but i haven't tried it. There is an optic that mounts to the dovetail directly that might be worth a look from leupold. The deltapoint pro micro.
I'd look at that before a plate and optic. Or buy a new slide that's milled to swap on.
