Dovetail to Picatinny Adapters

Trying to solve scope mount dilemma for a Ans 1913.

Nordic doesn't have a rail to fit so I'm looking at dovetail rings or adapters. I shoot my Vudoo in a Foundation stock with the cheek piece removed so I have no cheek contact. I expect I'll be doing some woodwork on the BR50 stock to achieve the equivalent and want to minimize that so I want high rings. I have a set of picatinny rings that I really like so I'm wondering about using dovetail to picatinny adapters which have the advantage of adding height.

Any input appreciated but the real question is what adapters would you recommend and who can I get them from?

UTG makes low profile adapters that snap into weaver/pic rings. I've seen many use this setup on Anschutz. It doesn’t add much height. I did it to run my scope from my 64 Annie that is D&T, on my 1403 for accuracy testing.

Or there the Area 419 rail, or DIP products.

For dovetail rings, I love the Burris Signature, can run 0 to 20 MOA. They come with 11mm clamps.

Edit, I do like BKL rings too.

There are choices with regard to a base for Picatinny type rings for the Anschutz single shot receiver. There are a few available on places like Amazon such as Leapers or UTG but they are not well made and use pot metal as I recall. I have tried them and wouldn't recommend them.

Among the better quality products are rails made by DIP (Diversified Products) and Talley. Kinney Shooting Supply carries many of these rails and ship to Canada. Their service was very good when I last used them. See h t t p s://kinneysshootingsupply.com/parts-by-rifle-manufacturer/anschutz/anschutz-rails/

Of course there are good dovetail rings available. Quality dovetail rings are more than secure enough to assure .22LR shooters that the optic reliably in place. Among them are Talley and D3 dovetail rings, both of which have good reputations. The D3 rings are available on Ebay.

I have used BKL rings for years and am quite satisfied with their quality and ability to do the job. SportsMatch also makes good quality dovetail scope rings. I have used these also. In Canada they are available at AGS.

I,too, have a set of those amazon adapters - shoulda bought a couple sets back in the winter. I want to try them on one of my AR-7s - gotta watch for them to show up again or an alternative. I have them on my Marlin-60 to hold a 6-24x50 FFP scope, but just put them on y-day. Haven't been to the range yet but they seem to hold well. I don't carry my rifles by the scope anyway.
