Good news. To those who read part one, the busted up screw holding the v block was finally removed. I did cut a slot in the screw, but still could not get it to turn. It was finally removed by an impact driver. Great. Then when I looked at the area with the V block removed, Jaguar Gunsmith had managed to attach the barrel to the action at an angle. It was off centre by about 2mm. I took it to Dlask, Leigh managed to redo the connection and installed his adjustable v block. I had bought a Boyds AT One thumb hole stock for the rifle to restock it originally. I am glad to say that it all worked out. Please see the pics for the result. Have not been able to get to the range yet, looking forward to see how it will shoot now that the butcher job has been fixed.
