DPMS Lower parts kit front takedown pin prob

has anoyone had a problem with the front take down pin in the dpms lower parts kit for the AR? its like way to big. i'm not sure if i should file it or drill the hole bigger or pound it in?

Do you have the capability to measure the pin and the hole accurately?. If so Can you do that and then post the results?.

Would that parts kit be for one of those stupid large pin Colt's, years ago Colt figured that it would be a good idea to use a larger than normal front pin, they have since gone back to the same as everybody else. Here is what I found online:

Small hole receivers of .250" are the "milspec", but during early production by Colt for the civilian market, they produced rifles utilizing a .315" spec, so as to preclude use of military uppers on civilian lowers.

I've never seen an oversized take down pin. On any kit

Any chance it's a pin for a .308Ar that got put in the wrong bag? (I know AR10 take-down pins are larger, not 100% on DPMS style)
