DPMS Oracle or S&W M&P 15 AR15?

Nothing wrong with the DPMS, nice entry level AR, but the S&W was the best selling rifle in North America last year for a reason, it is a good quality rifle for the money, either one will work, it just comes down to which you like better. I understand Irunguns has a good deal on a PSA ( Palmetto State Armory) right now, might be worth a look for the same kind of money, I've heard PSA makes a nicer product, no experience with them however. I shoot with a few guys, one has the Smith , one has the DPMS, both are happy with them for what it's worth
 
I've been on the fence for a long time now about getting an AR15, and this morning I decided not to wait any longer, so I ordered the DPMS from Cabela's. And the deciding factor was that 40% price reduction.

I was actually wanting a shorter barrel, but that's just too good a deal to turn down.

I hope. I have never even handled an AR15. I know almost nothing at all about these rifles, so I'm off to read the stickies.

This will be fun.

I've bought 3 firearms now just because of this gov't.
