I have the m&p and so does a buddy and they are great guns for the price. I kept mine with the fixed front sight and he swapped his handguard for a free float option. Very reliable guns, good accuracy. There is a good meltdown video by iraqveteran8888 on YouTube where he destroys an m&p 15 upper with full auto fire and it was an impressive amount of rounds to get it to fail
