Hello I have been reading alot about the DPMS rifles. I want to get a good accurate rifle to shoot about 400 yards. This rifle has been getting good reviews at 100 yards about 1.11 groups or better with the 24" barrel. I like the fact that that they are available in .260 and .308. I think i would go with the .260 for what i would like todo. This is a AR15 type rifle witch means there alot of parts and stuff for it. its heavy at 11.4 pounds but it has a free floating barrel. Is anyone else shooting one of these and are the reviews i have been reading right ?. So i would like to here about the one is .308 and the DPMS-Panther LR-260. They are a little on the pricy side at 1500 or so but if its as good as they say maybe its worth it Thanks Andrew
