It is not PSL it is called Radom Hunter, about 10000 made in early 90s, still offered for sale, but for us it is AK variant. It was always made semi auto

That stupid gun is just knock off of a PSL. It is not a Dragunov. Dragunovs are not AK variants. Did you even watch the video I posted of the guys comparing the PSL to a Dragunov? That other gun in that video is just a PSL with a different name.

The video is long but It has all the info anyone would like to see on the Dragunov.

The PSL/Romak is much more common than the Drag in the US - but I'd love one of each please!

X2, now I want one..........:D

How many Dragunov's are in Canada and at what price, class etc.?????

They're currently 12(5) prohibited rifles. I don't know how many, but up to about 1992 they were being sold by (the now defunct) SIR mail order as non-restricted rifles. After 1992 they became restricted, and in 1994/95 the Libs made them prohibs (with most everything else). They were also in Century's catalog when Century was in Canada. They were about $2400. Because of that, I don't think they were that popular, but I really don't know or heard how many they sold. The amount is probably in a confidential gov't record. Anyone have any idea?
