I shoot production and my first shot averages about 1.5 to 1.6 and my second shot is about 1.85 to 1.95.

Im production to..first shot would be other way around for me..bout 1.5-1.8... second shot much faster.

I was referring to two shots..... It seems like there's a lot of really fast shooters out there, I hope they are mostly open guys with red dots and brakes and slap triggers. I shoot a production glock with open sights, a six pound tigger and a fair bit of muzzle flip.

I never slap the trigger. Not even with an Open gun. IMHO it's slower to do so than maintaining finger contact with the trigger surface.
Using my current Standard gun I can get .11 splits without slapping.

Wow, you guys are fast.

From hands at sides, I typically only get a first shot under 1 s if the target is close (say 5 yards or less). With a back to targets or hands above shoulders, I give up another .1 seconds.

With an open gun at 15 yards, my draw is around 1.2 with a .16-.19 split.

I guess I'm not very good.

Sounds about right to me.
I said I could get an .11 split, but I didn't say what distance......

I'm with you, destroyer of most things at the Florida Open!!
You are even better than me, because I can't match those times.
On a really good day, I'll get 1.2, and with a standard gun maybe around 1 flat. Wow! Other than Todd or Eric, who gets the advertised times???
