Dream Rifle Arrived Today !!

Bob, did you ask the kind people at LRB about bedding your rifle? From your previous post's I take it is not. They would not do mine at the time I ordered due to work load. I was hoping that would of changed. In the end mine didn't need to be for the results I'm getting but I wouldn't mind doing it someday, the odds of improving the accuracy out weigh the odds of hurting it. Btw did you go with a rear lugged m25 receiver or no lug?

Cheers

I actually chose not to bed - while the SAI NM is bedded and I agree for absolute best accuracy it is the way to go I wanted to see what this was like w/o. I also didn't really want another M14 that I was leery of repeated disassembly as, honestly, I like to strip down and lube a rifle pretty often which, if bedded, is a poor idea for a M14-type. If bedding proves necessary then I will revisit but my accuracy requirements for M14's should be easily met by anything better than rack grade. For making real tiny groups I have lots of nice F-Class and tactical/sniper sticks to turn to :)

I asked abut the rear lugged receivers and none were available at the time I ordered but for me that wasn't a big deal.

As much as I like to keep it cheap, those LRB's are a different story.
You can almost feel the quality just looking at the pics.

A very nice gun indeed, well done and enjoy it.
Now would you all just get down the range and post some groups, cos you know that's what were all waiting for :)
