DRG Bullets - Frank McKaig

Frank died on 27 September.

The bullets he had for sale are all gone.

We have lost a very good source of cast bullets and have lost a nice guy.

I've bought many reloading supplies from Frank. I hadn't heard from him this year but knew he wasn't doing well. So sad to hear.

Had heard he was unwell and had stopped making bullets. May he rest in peace.

Will have to track when I load and fire my last DRG bullet and suitably remember the occasion.

He was a good friend and source for allot of reloading supplies for over 30 years. He will be missed by many.

Frank was a great help to me starting out in reloading and he sucked me into some great shooting glasses and an Italian over and under! Frank was generous, knowledgeable and kind, he also always had a great pup at his side! We'll all miss him, Godspeed Frank!

Sorry to hear, a loss to the Canadian shooting scene.

A quick google search shows he sold these bullets to a bunch of resellers.
Wonder what they will replace it with once they have sold their DRG stock.
Maybe someone will take over the business/tools etc.

Bought a lot of reloading components, shells and a couple of shotguns from him over the years. A fair and honest dealer. RIP.

His son is not going to carry on the business. If anyone wants to go into the cast bullet business, his son will make you a deal for all the gear.
