I'm looking for one of those sets. Anyone can tell me where I can buy it? I don't really want to deal with Brownell. Prefer Canadian supplier. Is there any particular type I should be looking for? Any help is appreciated.

You do know that there are several different threads on shotgun beads dependent on the make. The most common one is 6-48 which is also the common sight mount screw you can get the drill and tap from other places than Brownells. The other thing is it is quite hard to find just a plain brass bead by the time you pay shipping it is sometimes cheaper to buy a tru glow bead than a brass bead.

Not what you want to hear but Brownells is probably the easiest as far as one stop shopping goes..... they sell kits with the drill, tap and bead.

If you're just looking for a brass bead... Home depo has everything you need, including the bead. Just need to think outside of the box is all.

Any gunsmith would probably sell both a tap and a bead. (most gunsmiths buy their bits and pieces thru Brownells) They are still the biggest supplier of gunsmith bits and pieces, and it's all in one source. That would be a hint.

I have installed several center beads on vent ribs in the past with a single brass or white bead a small drill bit ( do not recall the size right now ) and some five minute epoxy.
Seemed to work for and the other guys in the blind.
now, when it comes to a plain round barrel , thats another story.
Tight Beads !
