I am thinking of mounting a QD sling mount in the bottom of my Supernova stock. Has anyone done this? I can't find anything specifically on this online (for the supernova)

(please disregard...was shown the swivel mount holes and I found a proper sling)

I'm assuming that this is a synthetic stock, which will be hollow. Does the Nova have any recoil reduction system or camber/cast adapters at the back?
If I was to drill into a clear area inside the stock, I would most likely use a QD swivel with machine thread and nut, as I doubt there is much "meat" for a regular wood screw type QD to bite into.

thanks for your reply (and everyone)

Yes, they have swivel mounts which I just found out about. I'm not well versed in slings. So...no drilling necessary! Picked up a proper sling today.

I thought the supernova had a sling swivel molded into the stock?

I'd definitely pull the recoil pad off and have a good look inside before hitting it with the drill.
