A friend of mine has been given a old sauer & sohn drilling in what we think is 16 gauge and the rifled barral is 7.65 R ant thoughts on age or worth ,pics in couple of days thanks

Yep, we need pics and a lot more info to even guess at value, especially with a drilling. Besides pics of the gun, we also need pics of the stampings on the watertable, the action flats and whatever is on the underside of the barrels in front of the watertable. Also what condition the bores are in, any dents, does the gun function as it should etc.
 
I have three drillings and a couple of combination guns, and I agree with what gunsaholic said. Wouldn't care to guess with so little to go on.
