This is a Very rare S&W DA 44 Russian.
WELLS FARGO Marked as well.
Looking at the WF mark its got the same wear and patina as the rest of the gun.
Marked along the barrels side is 44 S&W CTG
Has the full S&W Barrel address then the W&F marks
Its got Peral grips!
Real antique pearl
Hard to find a neater gun than this.
Its the Long Cylinder 1 and 9/16th long 44 Russian cylinder so can shoot 44 Sp if a person wanted it to but its staying in 44 Russian because its hard to find this model with WF marking mostly them guys used schofields.
Shes sporten a 6.5 inch barrel to so this guy liked to shoot.
Picture the gun rideing in a holster bumping along on a stage coach on some dusty road in the old west.
Or on a train chugging slow up some mountain pass billlowing smoke, the Wells Fargo Agent with nervous sweaty hands fondleing the pearl grips till the train clears the pass and speeds up safe from outlaws LOL.
Once its here i will post better pics this is a great gun with history on its own without the WF markings as long Cylinder S&Ws are harder to find in 44 Russian.
I checked out the WF markings there correct.
I will get a S&W Letter on the gun to.
go nice with my pearl handled SAA Colt...
