I've been looking hard at my SAM 1911 omega and figuring out what bugs me about it, other than it shooting high.
The grip safety has a large memory bump and what I can only call a generous overbite where it even overrides the MSH some.
After shooting a 1911 with the classic A1 grip safety I realized just how damned painfully uncomfortable that blasted SAM is
I know I've read about guys buying "drop in" match hammer and sear kits, but I forget what product line it is.
What's my best bet for a grip safety that won't require much in the way of fitting?
This pistol has a commander style hammer if that matters.
I'd be good with putting even a 1911A1 style part in there. I don't need beavertails
