Hi guys,
I have a nice military SMLE No. 1 Mk III*. Unfortunately, it shoots to the right fairly severely. As in the group isn't even 'above' the front sight blade.
Worse, my skill with open sights is, well, not so good.
I'd like to take the old girl hunting, but as it is, I just don't feel comfortable that I could hit what I was aiming at.
I'm ok with aperture sights and/or scopes, so I found the following product
http://ww w.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=157626
Looks to me like it will just replace the existing rear sight assembly. I am not willing to make any permanent changes to the rifle (such as drilling/tapping)
Unfortunately, I can't find a retailer who will ship to Canada
So, my questions are:
1.) does anyone know where I can get one of these Mojo Micro Click rear sights (or a similar product) in canada.
2.) if not, are there any good scope mounting or receiver sight options for an SMLE No. 1 mk III* that do not require drilling and tapping (the search function leads me to believe the answer to this question is no - but may as well ask).
Thanks
Fat
