Drop leg holster for shotguns

Its funny I have been thinking about this a lot lately. It doesn't matter how great a product is or how its new and not been seen before. Everyone starts screaming for the Chinese knock off right away. No interest in anything made in North America anymore.

I am very interested in NA made goods. However this is a $200 dollar holster and it's not even leather!! The Chinese made one is six times cheaper. I would be interested if it was even three times more expensive at $90.

Where is the Chinese made shotgun holster? I would like to compare them. And if your basing your price on a scabbard keep in mind a lot more goes into the design of a drop leg holster then a simple scabbard.

And a lot more goes into the design and manufacture of tactical vests, yet most can be had for less than the dropleg shotgun holster, even some very nice made in USA blackhawk ones. If you want to drink this flavor of kool aid go right ahead i wont poo poo your decision to do so, just don't expect everyone to share your reasons of justification for doing so.

Unless you're buying some really old shiznit, BHI is definitely NOT made in the USA...

LOL where is it made? China  cuz we all know it must be crap then

Didn't say that - however I have had far fewer QC issues with N American made gear than that ripped off and made in the Far East. Warranty is easier to deal with also when you're not talking to some dude in HK.

BHI is made in the Republic of Vietnam. And I have been both buying and actually using gear for long enough that I have some original BH gear that was made in the US - and I purchased it when it was new on the market - back when "honour really was a way of life" for the management at Blackhawk...

Well now that that's settled? I still think that $200 bucks for a holster is a tad steep for a gun that is restricted (pistol grip 8.5" shotguns are restricted as far as i know).
