Hello everybody.
I just picked up a TOZ 17-01 22LR rifle at a gun show. It was in a good shape, looked hardly used, so I was pretty excited. I couldn't get the magazin out though. The guy pulled out a screw driver, and started to fiddle with it. As I didn't want him to scratch it, I said, never mind, it's probably dirt.
I brought it home, removed the bottom plate of the magazin and I peeked inside: it seems like there are drops of lead inside! I pulled a part of the spring, from the magazin, and there is a big gush of lead I suppose. There are even two drops on the outside of the well.
What could that possibly be? Did somebody try to "deactivate" it on purpose? Could it be something that happened during the gun operation? I'm really puzzled...
