So I was out on a quest to get more rail space on the 930, lets face it, there just isn't enough of it on the 930 to begin with.
Maybe I went a little overboard, maybe it's a bit much but when in the dark recesses of my mind, there is this low raspy voice constantly shouting "MOOOORE" and "POOWERRRRRR" "RAAAAARRRR!" I usually succumb to it's will... (complete parts listing at bottom of post)
It's tiny bit heavier than the stock plastic forend, but not horribly so. No more than say, a benelli M4 with all the rails and trimmings.
On a side note, I decided to get the new improved bolt handle (right) from S&J Hardware and I am glad I did, not only is it EASIER to operate that the Gen 1 (left) it has less tendency to chew up the hand during fast manipulations, over/under hand techniques and hand "chopping" the bolt handle.
Overall, I am quite happy with it and I think I can close the "need for more parts" on this firearm for the time being. All I need now is some range time!
Special thanks to Simon from S&J Hardware for GREATLY helping me with this project. Without his support and technical knowledge, this would not have been possible
