I have a couple of target 22 pistols. Hate dry firing them but hate storing them with the srping under tension........so who sells something decent to dry fire them ?

Thanks

A plastic #6 concrete screw anchor can also be trimmed to fit a .22 chamber. The .22 "snap caps" that are commercially available are really more dummy rounds than snap caps, as they have a pretty short life due to rim damage.

Yes and no (about empty shell).

On my Lakefield 91T (target rifle), spent cases will simply not fit (tight chamber).

On the Browning Buckmark Countour, I'd say I can fit ~30-40% of the spent cases.

Snap cap worked fine on the Lakefield, but was blow to pieces the first it was used in the Buckmark.

I just don't dry fire the .22; The Glock 22 on the other hand... =D
