Dry fire or Snap Caps?

It's a gun! Use it 'till it breaks then fix it.

check out the other post "sigs is there any other gun" the guy bought a brand new SIG, than dry fired it at home, never even put one round thru it. The spring broke in 4 months of dry firing? I used to think SIG's were good, but thats unacceptable.

and preventable by using a snap cap when dry firing.

Sig is generally known as a high quality producer of firearms and I don't think its just a matter of clearance or material issues.

Evidently someone at Sig was asleep the day they designed/produced the 229.

As the investment guys say, "past performance may not be indicative of future results".

O Ring! I sure like that idea! I'll try that in the 45 auto, that O ring would probably stay in place when the slide was racked. It's a cheap solution, would be good to use if somebody is worried about it. I dry fire my Glock 17 all the time no problem. Xray
