Dry fire Sig P250?

Hey guys...a question for you guys who own/are familiar with the Sig Sauer P250. I just purchased one from a fellow CGNer and am waiting to receive it. Just wondering if it can withstand dry fire. I dry fire practice my striker fire quite frequently, but I know the DAO trigger/hammer assembly on the Sig is a bit unique, so didn't want to take any huge risks. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I own the Sig p320 and I have dry fired it, but only for function tests. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

I use a snap cap in mine. The nice thing is that because it is DAO you don't have to rack the slide to reset the trigger.

Yep...I’m a snap cap fan too...prob fine...bit why not be sensible..it’s not a rim fire so should be fine...but hey..

I accidentally dry fired mine a couple times yesterday, no adverse effects

Thats the best idea if you want to dry fire intentionally time after time.

I made my own snap caps using de-primed brass and a punched out piece of leather that fits the primer pocket. Seems to hold up well. An old friend taught me this trick, years ago.
