drywall anchors as rimfire snap caps

I always use a spent casing in my High Standard. Pull the trigger at the range, bring it home and clean it up and pop the spent case back in and pull the trigger again, store in gun locker.
 
do the drywall anchors show firing pin hits? that is one of the main reasons i like the other ones especially while trying used rifles at gunshow.
 
You can load them into a magazine at least they load into my savage magazine. They don't feed well off each other however they work well as a last round. They do show strikes on the rim. I purposefully cocked and fired my rifle 20 times on the same spot on the anchor and it never broke through.
 
They all must be renters (fearful of putting holes in the wall) or enraged landlords (how dare they educate the unwashed about drywall anchors lolz)

Also to slightly derail, I have been trying to get the bolt out of my Cooey Repeater for about 9 months now, I work on it for 2 hours per night as soon as I get home, what am I doing wrong? :confused:

Dahahaheeeee. I just laid hands on my new Ross and managed to get the bolt out and marvel at the delicate balance point where the dink end sits still sideways. Went and put it back in... (missed the guide tracks) the dink turned and locked it up! Fiddled, fussed, jerked pried and prodded... stuck! Looked at a nearby hammer, picked it up, put it down. Eventually wiggled it out. (okay... I lied... I did try some gentle tapping, and prying with the claw end, but the hammer wasn't the deciding factor). Pfew! That was almost an emarassing story. Hey wait....

I had one but sold it, (the later military one with the 6 round magazine) Very nice rifles. I had lots of fun with the mentioned condition. I was thinking to myself that it must have kept bored soldiers entertained when they would sit a blank on the bolt face, set it up like you mentioned and toss the bolt on the floor by their sleeping friend.

I also wondered if the cross hole through the butt end of the striker was to set up the Ross as a booby trap with a trip wire. . .
