Duck boat lighting

Morning all,
I'm looking to light up the water around a 17' duck boat. My thought is a few LED lights bars off the bow, stern and one on each side. My thought is brighter is better, much like my work shop. Plus a simple throw of a switch and all mounted lights fire up and there's no playing with spot lamps or tripping on wires. That said I'm open to suggestions on how many and where to mount as well as brands and sources for LED's and any other suggestions that may be out there.
The end goal is to simply brighten the area for easy work in the dark at either morning or night.
Any thoughts, input or suggestions are welcome.
 
I shut my boat lights off and let my eyes adjust. Never had the need for lights, other than the odd bad decoy cord tangle, which I usually just wait for light to deal with. Keep a flashlight handy to warn other hunters that I'm already there, but otherwise I see no need to lights.
 
My duck boat has the required navigation lights for when I’m travelling across the lake and one LED light bar on the bottom of the seat at the back so I can see the floor of the boat in the event I drop something. I don't feel the need to have any mounted spotlights as I have a good flash light that I use when spotting in the dark. Never felt that I needed anything more than this, but I have considered putting in a couple additional LED light bars inside just to provide some light for the bottom of the boat, but its really not needed. I actually prefer to allow my eyes to adjust to the darkness as mentioned earlier
 
Obviously Op you see the need to light up the area of your boat to set or pick decoys. Consider many of us have been doing those tasks for many decades with old fashioned flash lights and letting ours eyes adjust to the dark without issue. With the new technology in small, light ultra bright flashlights I would see no need to go to the time or trouble to rig your boat in flood lights. I have several new technology flashlights I bought in 3 packs at Costco. Between letting your eyes become accustom to the dark and getting a few distance bearings with one of these wee lights I have no issues setting decoys accurately.
But if lighting up your corner of the world to set decoy's will make you happy go for it.
 
I dont do much hunting from boats but I have installed a crap load of lightbars on trucks and one thing to consider is that Good lightbars are expensive and Cheap lightbars wont last, they might be bright but they leak, hold water, corrode and dont come with great warranty. To outfit your boat with long bars on all sides is going to be pricey, a cheaper option would be a 3" cubed LED, they are small, and really bright, pretty good bang for the buck. Just my 2cents
 
I'm surprised. I thought more would be lighting up the area if the option was available.
What about for traveling before dark, anyone running a light bar/lamp or just running with spot lamps and navigation lights or just nav lights?
