Duck Decoy ID and Info

Have had this decoy for a few decades and know nothing about it.

Collectibles are not my sort of thing anymore, however you would never know from the amount of "stuff" accumulated prior.

Would appreciate any information regarding this decoy and if there is any estimated value.

Nails for eyes ?
Is the bottom nailed to the base of the decoy ?
Appears to be and if is the decoy is hollowed out and a couple pieces of cedar nailed to it to lighten them so to float higher and faster.
Have you seen the book Traditions in Wood ?
