Duck Dynasty starts tonight (wednsday march 21)

I enjoy it. I am also a big Phil ROBERTSON fan. I met him at the SHOT show in Orlando years ago. Very intelligent and a very nice experience talking with him. A day or two after I spoke with him I happened by his booth again. The man stood up when he saw me and sang our entire national anthem. He then gave me a basic duck commander call and a DVD. Phil advised me that even though he was a strict USA patriot he did admire how Canada did it's business. We tried to get a Manitoba mallard hunt set up with him but his schedule was just impossible to work around. You will note he mentions Canada alot in his DVD's. Sorry for the long post.

I think the show is a riot. In today's world of reality shows even though they are all staged this one at least has some good old fashioned values and a lot of good clean humor not to mention it shows there are ways to live and survive off the land, a point lost on most of society today. Yes these guys are very well off but they weren't always and I like the fact they are not afraid to show younger people and a lot of adults as well that meat doesn't come packed and wrapped in styrofoam and glad wrap. Something has to die, someone has to kill it and someone has to clean and butcher it and yes YOU can do these things for yourself still in today's world.

They definitely don't show their "real production" line. There is no way they could get that many boxes out with just those four or five jokers. I like the show though. Most of it is entertaining.

Completely agree. Like all reality TV, it's good to not take it too serious, it's all for TV/entertainment.

I'd put my money on them coming in on the weekends to pretend they're supposed to be working for the vast majority of their filming.

Edit: And nonetheless we're loving the show. It's still very entertaining and much better then a lot of the BS on TV. :)

Awsome!

Ive watched every episode like 5 times and I find they get funnier as they go along. I cant get enough of Uncle Si what I would give to spend a day with that guy. Everything he says is just absolutely hilarous. "but her you cant even spell squirrel without si and thats me"

I am not a big fan of reality tv but this and swamp people are two of my favorites. Loved it when Si suggested him making a beaver call and be the beaver commander. It is a great show.

it's the only show I can get my wife to sit down & watch TV with me. other then that she's watching sappy TV. too bad it's the season ender.
I'm hopping for 4+ more seasons of this redneck fun loving family.

it makes me happy happy happy. So happy I would kiss a frogs butt. :xes
